263K. [ Appointment of officers for Corporation from cadres of State Government. - [Chapter XXA including sections 263A to 263M inserted by W.B. Act 9 of 1994.]
Notwithstanding anything contained elsewhere in this Act, the State Government may, in consultation with the Mayor, appoint, from its own cadre, an officer to be posted for the Corporation by way of support service on such terms and conditions as the State Government may decide]:Provided that an officer so appointed shall be under the administrative control of the Mayor-in-Council.
