Section 5(12) in The Tamil Nadu Building and other Construction Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 2006
(12)It shall be the duty of every employer to insure all the building workers employed directly or through a contractor in his establishment, against any accident or occupational disease which may occur to any building worker during the course of work.
