Section 117(a) in U.P. Building And Other Construction Workers (Regulation Of Employment And Conditions Of Service) Rules, 2009
(a)no lifting appliance, lifting gear or wire rope is used in an unsafe way and in such a manner as to involve risk to life of building workers and that they are not loaded beyond their safe working load except for testing purposes under the direction of the competent person in the manner specified in Schedule-I annexed to these rules;
