When a document is presented for registration in duplicate, or triplicate Registering Officer shall treat the duplicate and triplicate as such if they are exact reproductions of the original and bear the same date. Should any discrepancy be detected, the presentant shall be required to reconcile it before the document is accepted for registration. If the original contains a map or plan, a copy shall be annexed to the duplicate and to the triplicate.
