ORDER
(made by N. MALA, J.) This writ petition is filed for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 2 and 4 to consider the petitioner's representations dated 07.01.2025 and 23.04.2025 and to initiate steps to prevent unauthorised construction in the land comprised in S.No.228/1C9D1, Kandhanchavadi Village, Chennai District measuring an extent of 557.75 sq. ft. which is owned by the 9th respondent.
2. Mr. D.B.R. Prabhu, learned Standing Counsel, accepts notice for respondents 1 and 5 to 7. Mr. Akhil Akbar Ali, learned Standing Counsel, accepts notice for the second respondent.

3. Considering the limited prayer sought by the petitioner, without going into the merits of the matter, based on the submission made by the learned Standing Counsel for Chennai Corporation that the first respondent is the authority concerned to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representations dated 07.01.2025 and 23.04.2025, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the first respondent to consider the petitioner's said representations and pass orders on the same on their own merits and in accordance with law, after affording a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner as well as the ninth respondent, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
Consequently, connected WMP is closed.
