Section 4 in The Orissa District Planning Committees Act, 1998
4. Term of office of elected members.
- The term of office of an elected member shall be five years commencing on the date of his election unless removed earlier :Provided that the term of office of every elected member shall be coterminous with his membership in the Zilla Parishad or, as the case may be the Municipality.
