S.R.O. 587, dated 27th February, 1956. - In exercise of the powers conferred by Cl. (p) of sub-section (1) of Sec. 6 of the Indian Ports Act, 1908 (15 of 1908) and in supersession of the "Indian Ports Health Rules (1938)" the Central Government hereby makes the following rules, the same having been previously published as required by Section 6 (2) of the said Act, namely :
