The appellant has sought the following information:

1. Provide the particulars of Aadhar Centres working in Berhampur Telecom District as follows. If Aadhar centre at any place is closed or diverted to any other place, the letter as per which the same was made be provided.

The CPIO did not provide the desired information. Submissions made by Appellant and Respondent during Hearing: The appellant was not present to plead his case. However, in his second appeal he had stated that he is not satisfied with the reply of the CPIO as the CPIO did not provide the Aadhaar enrolment in May 2021, SIM swap by rural distributors in May 2021 and Aadhaar agreement with franchise. He also submitted that penalty may be imposed on the CPIO. The CPIO submitted that an appropriate reply was given to the appellant on 23.06.2021.

Observations:

From a perusal of the relevant case records, it is noted that on points no. 1 & 2, the CPIO in his reply had stated that the information was provided on 29.04.2021. With regard to point no.3, an appropriate reply was given was given. The appellant too did not appear for the hearing to pursue his case.The 2 Commission is unable to find any flaw in the reply of the CPIO, hence, no relief can be given.

Decision:

In view of the above, no action lies.

The appeal is disposed of accordingly.
