The instant M.A filed for joining together is allowed. O.A No. 485/2019
3. Heard learned counsel for applicants and Mr. Rajeev Kumar, learned counsel for respondents on receipt of advance notice.
4. The applicants are working as Assistant Engineers with the respondents. They are claiming pay scale of Rs.7500-12000(pre-revised). It is contended on behalf of the applicants that even persons junior to them have been granted the benefit of the aforesaid pay scale.
5. The applicants further submit that their case is covered by the judgment of this Tribunal passed in O.A No.818/2000 titled as F. C. Jain and Ors. vs. Union of 6 O.A 485/2019 India & Ors. decided on 27.09.2000 and other connected matters. The applicants have also made representations at (Annexure A-2 Colly.)
6. Keeping in view the facts of the case and submissions made, this Application is disposed of at the admission stage with the direction to the respondents to consider the representations of the applicants in light of the judgment referred to hereinabove within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. Needless to say that in the event, the claim of the applicants is to be rejected, the same shall be by passing a reasoned and speaking order.
