Section 156(1) in The Bihar Motor Vehicles Rules, 1992
(1)In every public service vehicle other than a motor cab there shall be a gangway by which passengers may enter or leave the vehicle, (i) Where seats are placed along the sides of the vehicle there shall be a gangway of a clear space of not less than 620 mm. measured between the fronts of the front of the seats, and (ii) Where seats are placed across the vehicle there shall be a gangway of a clear space of not less than 310 mm. measured between any part of adjoining seats or their supports.
