(4)[ The exercise of the powers by the Syndicate under clause (xxiv) of sub-section (1), in so far as they relate to the determination of salaries, allowances and emoluments of the teachers and other employees of the University shall be subject to the approval of the State Government.] [This sub-section was inserted by Gujarat 10 of 1982, Section 2, Schedule, Sr. No. 1 (2) (b) (w.r.e.f. 09-12 1981).]
