Section 64(4) in The Alipurduar University Act, 2018
(4)Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-section (6), the Director of Public Instructions, West Bengal shall be the pension or Gratuity sanctioning authority for all employees including approved part-time teachers and approved contractual whole-time teachers in terms of the service rules applicable to them, if any, who will be absorbed in the University under this section.
