Section 13(1) in Karnataka State Road Safety Authority Act, 2017
(1)There shall be levied and collected one time CESS at the time of vehicle registration, at such rate not more than one thousand rupees, as may be notified, by the State Government. Different rates may be levied for different class of motor vehicles.
