- In placing prisoners in irons in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 56 of the Prisons Act, 1894, no irons of any kind other than one of the kinds prescribed in paragraphs 552 infra, and in the case of fetters, other than bar-fetters or link fetters, shall be imposed on any prisoner.
