Section 11(a) in Kumaun and Uttarakhand Zamindari Abolition and Land Reforms Act, 1960
(a)to take charge of any khaikari land and of all interest vested in the State under the provisions of this Chapter, and to take or cause to be take such steps and use or cause to be used such force as may, in the opinion of the Collector or the officer so appointed, be necessary for this purpose;
