Section 52(2) in The Punjab Minor Canals Act, 1905
(2)The Collector may at any time order the owner of a water-course to perform in respect of such water-course all or any of the acts which he may under sub-section (1) order the owner of a canal to perform in respect of the canal, and may direct the owner of the canal to cease supply water to the water-course till the owner of the water-course has complied with the order.
