The parties are heard and records perused.
FACTS
It is noticed that vide RTI dated 13.8.2010 the appellant has sought the following:-
a) To inspect the letter written by him to the Engineering Department dated 30.8.206 and to be provided attested copy of the same, and
b) To inspect original papers/statements provided by the appellant along with his letter of 30.8.2006 and attested copies of the same.
2. The CPIO vide his letter dated 9.9.2010 informed the appellant that the original letter of the appellant dated 28.8.2006 was not available in the concerned file but photocopy of the same available with the Draughtsman, was being enclosed. The first appeal was decided by the Appellate Authority who vide his order dated 30.9.2010 reiterated that a reply to both the points had been provided by the CPIO. The first appeal was decided by the Appellate Authority who vide his order dated 19.10.2010 affirmed the decision of the CPIO.
3. Dissatisfied with the above order, the appellant has filed the present appeal.
4. The appellant, Shri Khanna submitted that he had put up papers to the office of the Executive Engineer, JNU, pertaining to renovation of toilets in the Jhelum and Sutlej hostels. In respect of both, he had submitted three deviation statements, No. 1, 2 & 3 in respect of both the works.
5. The CPIO submitted that the originals of all the six deviation statements could not be traced while the appellant vide his RTI had wanted to see the originals of all the six.
6. The CPIO is directed to make another effort to locate these documents and the hearing is deferred to Monday, May 14, 2012. In case the original documents are not traceable, the CPIO is directed to submit an affidavit to that effect.
