Section 40(1) in West Bengal Town and Country (Planning and Development) Act, 1979
(1)At any time after the date on which the [Land Use and Development Control Plan] [Substituted by Section 4(k)(ii) ibid for Development Plan.] for an area comes into operation, and at least once in every 10 years after that date, the concerned authority shall, after carrying out such fresh surveys as may be considered necessary, prepare and submit to the State Government a [Land Use and Development Control Plan] [Substituted by Section 4(k)(ii) ibid for Development Plan.] for any alterations or additions considered necessary.
