(1)Government warehouse shall ordinarily be kept closed on Sundays and public holidays declared as such under the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 and all holidays declared by executive orders of Chief Commissioner. On other days, such warehouses shall not be kept open except during the hours fixed by the Collector. In case of urgent necessity the Excise Commissioner or the Collector, or the Sub-divisional Officer may direct that such a warehouse shall not be closed on any particular holiday.
