Section 9(xii) in Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies Act, 2008
(xii)to act as trustees or managers of any property, legacy, endowment or gift for purpose of education or research otherwise in furtherance of the work and welfare of the Institute and to invest any funds representing the same in accordance with the provisions of this Act, the statutes, and the Regulations made there under;(Xiii)to establish, maintain and manage research department and institutions;
