Section 3(1)(ii) in The Kosi Diara (Reduction of Settled Rents) Act, 1939

(ii)in any holding, the rent of which was settled as aforesaid, was, as a result of any partition or otherwise, subdivided before the date on which this Act comes into force, and the rent payable for the holding was, with the consent of the landlord of such holding, distributed between the raiyats of the different portions of the holding, the rent payable by each of such raiyat for his portion of the holding shall be deemed to have been reduced by an amount equal to four annas and six pies per rupee of such rent;
