(8)The members of the Board shall not be entitled to receive any remuneration for performing the functions assigned to the Board under this Act except such daily and travelling allowances as may be prescribed.[Provided that nothing herein shall affect the emoluments or other conditions of service of the Vice-Chancellor,] [Inserted by Punjab Act 9 of 1962 section 2 (3).]
