The Finance Officer shall be appointed in such manner and on such terms and conditions of service, and shall exercise powers and perform duties, as may be prescribed by the Statutes. However, the first Finance Officer of the University shall be appointed by the Government and shall hold office for a term of three years or till the appointment of the Finance Officer as prescribed by the Statutes, whichever is earlier.
