Section 2(1) in The Andhra Pradesh (Telangana Area) District Police Act, 1329 F
(1)the words "the Collector of the District" mean the Chief Officer of the District in-charge of the administration of a district and exercising the power of a Collector of a District though the officer be given some other designation;
