Section 5(2) in The Punjab Land Reforms Rules, 1973
(2)In the case of a person who owns or holds land as landowner or tenant or mortgagee with possession or partly in one capacity and partly in another, in excess of the permissible area on the appointed day or at any time before the commencement of these rules, the declaration referred to in sub-rule (1) shall be furnished within a [period of four months and fifteen days] [Substituted by Notification No. GSR 87, dated 4.10.1973.] of the date of commencement of these rules and in the case of a person, who becomes liable to furnish the declaration at any time after the commencement of these rules, the declaration shall be furnished within a [period of four months and fifteen days] [Substituted by Notification No. GSR 87, dated 4.10.1973.] of the date on which he becomes so liable.
