30A. [ Determination payable where rent payable to kanam tenant is reduced. [Inserted by Act No. 35 of 1969.]
- Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in any other law, where in respect of a holding the landowner is a kanam tenant as defined in the Kanam Tenancy Act, 1955, and as a result of the determination of the fair rent is respect of that holding there has been a reduction in tie rent payable to such landowner, the jenrnikaram payable by such landowner in respect of that holding and accrued due after the 1st day of May, 1966, land before the commencement of the Kanam Tenancy Abolition Act, 1976 shall be reduced in the same proportion as the rent to which he was entitled was reduced.]
