39. Conferment of Honorary Degrees.
- The Institute may confer honorary degrees for a few exceptional and outstanding persons for their illustrious contribution in their respective fields:Provided that all proposals for the conferment of honorary degrees shall be made by the Senate and shall be approved by the Board.The National Institutes of Technology
