(1)This Act may be called the Mamlatdar’s Courts Act, 1906.(2)It shall extend to the whole of the State of Maharashtra, except the City of Bombay.(3)Commencement in rest of State.—In that part of the State of Bombay to which it is extended by the Mamlatdar’s Courts (Extension) Act, 1957, it shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint.
