43. [ Mode of paying chaukidars. [Inserted by Bengal Act 1 of 1886.]
- Every chaukidar shall receive, quarter by quarter, the full amount of his salary from such officer [as the [State] Government may, by Rules made under this Act, prescribe or direct.]
