Section 326I in Chennai City Municipal Corporation Act, 1919
326I. Penalty.
- Whoever contravenes any of the provisions of this Chapter or any rule or order made thereunder or obstructs lawful exercise of any power conferred by or under this Chapter shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to three years or with fine which may extend to ten thousand rupees or with both.[Provided that whoever erects any digital banner or placard without the permission of the District Collector, shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to one year or with fine which may extend to five thousand rupees or with both.] [Added by T.N.
