Section 27(a) in National Institute of Design Act, 2014
(a)the Governing Council, if the appointment is made on the academic staff in the post of [Principal Designer] [Substituted 'Senior Designer' by Act No. 38 of 2019, dated 29.11.2019.] or Professor or above or if the appointment is made on the non-academic staff in any cadre, the maximum of the pay-scale for which is the same or higher than that of [Principal Designer] [Substituted 'Senior Designer' by Act No. 38 of 2019, dated 29.11.2019.] or Professor; and
