Section 7 in Tamil Nadu Local Bodies (Election of Members to the District Planning Committee) Rules, 1999
7. Returning Officer.
- An officer not below the rank of Joint Director or District Revenue Officer nominated by the State Election Commission shall be the Returning Officer for the conduct of election of members to the committee.
