44. Exclusion of certain interested persons from guardianship
- No person who would be the next legal heir of a ward, or would otherwise be immediately interested in outliving a ward, shall be appointed to be his guardian;But nothing in this section shall apply to the mother of a ward or to a testamentary guardian.
