Section 20 in The West Bengal Lifts And Escalators Act, 1955
20. Protection and indemnity.
- No suit or other legal proceedings shall lie against the State Government and no suit, prosecution or other legal proceedings shall lie against any Inspector of Lifts or any person authorised by the State Government to exercise any powers or to perform any duties under this Act, for anything done or intended to be done in good faith under this Act.
