Section 29(ii) in U.P. Judicial Officers' Service Rules, 1960
(ii)there shall be a general reservation of 18 per cent of vacancies for members of the Scheduled Castes in making appointments to services and posts in connection with the affairs of the State of Uttar Pradesh :
