Section 2(11) in The Maharashtra Animal and Fishery Sciences University Act, 1998
(11)"recognised institution" means an institution for research or specialised studies other than a constituent college, recognised or deemed to be recognised as such by the University and includes any institution for imparting training and education in the sciences of Veterinary, Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Fisheries and in service Diploma training, Livestock Supervisors training or any other such training; which is under the direct management of the University or which is recognised or deemed to be recognized as such by the University;
