(5)It shall be the duty of the Vice-Chancellor to ensure that [the directives of the State Government, if any, and] [These words were inserted by Maharashtra 55 of 2000, section 11(a).] the provisions of the Act, Statutes, Ordinances and Regulations are strictly observed and that the decisions of the authorities, bodies and committees which are not inconsistent with the Act, Statutes, Ordinances or Regulations are properly implemented
