Section 59(1) in The M.P. Vidyut Sudhar Adhiniyam, 2000
(1)Except as provided in Section 61 of this Act, the provisions of this Act, notwithstanding that the same are inconsistent with or contrary to the provisions of the Indian Electricity Act, 1910 (No. 9 of 1910), or the Electricity (Supply) Act, 1948 (No. 54 of 1948) shall prevail.
