The petitioners claim similar directions as were issued in Bharti Gupta and others vs. State of Punjab and others (CWP No.12023 of 2015) on 29th May, 2015. On the grievance of the petitioners to remove the pay anomaly between senior and junior ETT teachers in Zila Parishad Sangrur, which has resulted on account of implementation of ACP scheme on completion of four years of service qua the persons who were junior to the petitioners, the seniors claim that their pay should be stepped up and brought at par with the juniors.

This Court in the aforesaid petition disposed of the matter with the direction to the decision maker amongst the respondents to consider and decide the representation (Annexure P-7) in that petition strictly in accordance with law and within a period of three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of the order. A direction was also issued to pass a comprehensive order assigning reasons in support of the decision arrived at. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that MONIKA VERMA 2016.01.27 15:32 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh CWP No.1544 of 2016 -2- similar direction be issued in the present case. The prayer is fair and reasonable and is accepted and this petition is disposed of in terms of CWP No.12023 of 2015.
