27. Appointment and tenure of pujari.
(1)The Board or the officer authorized by it, shall appoint pujaris of the Shrine and in making such appointment, he shall have due regard to the claims of persons belonging to the Valmiki Community for whose benefit the Shrine is mainly maintained.(2)A pujari shall hold office for a period as may be decided by the Board, unless in the meanwhile he is removed or dismissed or his resignation is accepted by the Board or the officer authorized by it or he otherwise ceases to be a pujari.
