ORAL ORDER

(Per : HONOURABLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE MR. K.S.RADHAKRISHNAN) The petition was filed with a prayer to issue a writ of mandamus or writ in the nature of certiorari or any other appropriate writ, quashing and setting the notification dated 26th June 2000 and also prayed for a direction to the respondents to give the grant w.e.f. 15th June 1992. The facts clearly indicate that affiliation was granted with the condition that the petitioners will not claim grant. After obtaining the affiliation, the petitioners cannot turn around and claim the grant w.e.f. 15th June 1992 for the computer course as optional subject in commerce faculty. The petition, therefore, lacks merit and is dismissed. Rule is discharged.
