Section 3(1) in Visvesvaraya Technological University Act, 1994
(1)There shall be established a University by the name of [Visvesvaraya] [Substituted by Act 10 of 2006 w.e.f. 2.5.2006.] Technological University with jurisdiction over the whole of the State of Karnataka.
