Section 2(1)(h) in The Punjab Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizen Rules, 2012

(h)"Maintenance Officer" means the District Social Security Officer of the District or any other officer not below the rank of a District Social Security Officer so designated by the State Government;
