Section 410 in The Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation Act, 1981
410. Grave diggers licence.
- No person shall discharge the office of a grave digger or other attendant at a public place for the disposal of the dead (other than a place provided by the Government) unless he has been licensed in that behalf by the Commissioner. The Commissioner may, after giving the holder of the licence an opportunity of showing cause, withdraw or cancel the licence.[Chapter - XIII-A] [Chapter XII-A (Sections 410-A to 410-J) was inserted by Tamil Nadu Municipal Laws (Amendment) Act, 1998 (Jamil Nadu Act 51 of 1998), w.e.f 23-7-1998.]
