Section 384(1) in The Calcutta Municipal Corporation Act, 1980
(1)The State Government shall by notification constitute an Advisory Committee for naming of streets in Calcutta. The Advisory Committee shall consist of such number of persons, not exceeding ten but not less than seven, as the State Government may think fit.
