By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2.The writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to consider the representation dated 14.10.2019 and to pass orders for counting the Polytechnic College teaching experience for recruitment of TRB 2019 for the post of Assistant Professor in Collegiate Education for selection in pursuant to the Notification No.12/2019 issued by the third respondent dated 04.10.2019 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

3.The case of the petitioners is that the petitioners have been appointed as Lecturer in Government Polytechnic Colleges, eligible for selection and appointment to the post of Assistant Professors in the respective Departments in Tamil Nadu Collegiate Education Service based http://www.judis.nic.in 2/4 W.P.No.33375 of 2019 on their qualification. The petitioners are aggrieved against the not considering the representation, for the teaching experience gained in the post of Lecturer in Polytechnic colleges, possessing the requisite qualification applicable to be post of Assistant Professor, to be taken into consideration for awarding weightage for selection to the post of Assistant Professor. In order to avail such benefit, the petitioners made representation on 14.10.2019, but till today no order has been passed.

Hence, the petitioners have filed the present petition.

5.In the very same issue while challenging the notification, this court already placed the yardstick for awarding marks for the teaching experience by judgment dated 12.07.2013 in W.P.No.18186 of 2013.

Exemption for M.Phil for taking UG class & Ph.D for taking PG class 6 30.06.2010 PG with 55% minimum marks with NET/SLET. Exemption only for Ph.D holders.

6.Considering the above, since this Court already issued direction in respect of awarding weightage mark, no separate direction is required to be issued in this writ petition.

7.With the above observations, the writ petition stands disposed of.

Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
