Section 741(6)(i) in Police Regulations, Bengal , 1943

(i)The Central Recruitment Board will compile a consolidated list of all the candidates in order of marks obtained in the written test and taking into consideration the total number of vacancies to be filled by direct recruitment, determine the number of candidates to be interviewed by the Board for personality test, strictly according to order of merit as shown in the consolidated list. The Board will meet in Calcutta for interviewing the candidates.
