(2)The Ex-officio members specified in items (i), (ii) and (iii) of category I of sub-section (i) instead of attending meeting of the Board by themselves, may depute an officer subordinate to them, not below the rank of a Deputy Secretary and the officer so deputed shall be entitled to take part in the proceedings of a particular meeting for which they are deputed and shall also be entitled to vote at such meeting.
