Section 31(4)(a) in Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University Act, 2008

(a)Any member of the Syndicate may propose to the Syndicate the draft of a statute or of any amendments to, or of repeal of, a statute and the Syndicate may either accept or reject the draft, if it relates to matter not falling within the purview of the Academic Council.
