Section 83 in The Maharashtra Electricity Regulatory Commission (Recruitment and Conditions of Service of Employees) Regulations, 2007

83.

If any difficulty arises in giving effect to any of the provisions of these Regulations the Commission may, by general or special order, do anything not being inconsistent with the provisions of the Act which appears to it to be necessary or expedient for the purpose of removing the difficulties.Appendix 'A'Category of Officers and Staff, sanctioned strength and pay scales(See Regulation 5)

Appendix 'B'Educational Qualifications, Experience and Other Conditions for Recruitment(See Regulation 8)A. SecretaryRecruitment to the post of Secretary shall be either-
(i)by deputation of a person from the State Government (equivalent to the post of Secretary to the State Government), preferably having qualifications or established experience in electrical engineering, finance, management or law. He should also have sufficient experience of secretariat functions in Central or State Government,
or
(ii)by nomination of a person on contract or regular basis having qualifications experience as at (i) above.
